Friendly and family run,it offers clean and comfortable accommodation with free Wi-Fi right at the heart of the old town of Chania.
The air conditioned/heated guest rooms at Iason Studios have balconies with a charming view of the town, as well as a kitchenette with dining area. Towels are changed daily. Laundry and ironing facilities are provided upon reques
The building was renovated originally in 1999 and then in 2005 and is situated on the west side of the old town, in the quiet area of "Topanas", with no traffic, just a few meters from the old Venetian harbour where you can find most of the historical sites of the city of Hania as well as many places for entertainment.
On the other hand if you prefer to have a break in Hania in wintertime, you have one more reason to come to our studios, as we alone in the whole old town offer central heating.
As a matter of fact, November to March rates are negotiable-according to number of persons and length of stay - because it's quite often to have longer renters during winter time. So we have a different arrangement in that case, with a major 50% discount per month.This is a usual policy for us, since there are many people - like arists from abroad or even many Greeks - that choose to stay in Hania for the wintertime.
The units are in the same building, so they're ideal for a group of friends or families. Nevertheless, they may be let out separately, as each unit has all the necessary equipment to make your stay most comfortable.

In a quiet location, yet close to city and the old port of Chania, Iason Studios offer a warm and practical welcome package, including traditional treats, maps and sightseeing tips. A major pole of attraction is the old city, with the old Venetian harbour. On the west side, the castle of Firkas, where the Naval Museum lies. (This is the area of IASON STUDIOS.) Iason Studios located coniniently within 100m from the Firkas Venetian Castle and the Naval Museum as well as 500m from the Chania Lighthouse. On the opposite side of the harbour, the Venetian arsenals (shipyards) of the 16th century. The old town also offers a range of shops, restaurants, museums and exhibitions. There are also other Museums, Exhibitions, Nightlife and Shops. The town never stops to amaze you!

Iason studios is at a perfect location...from here you may take day excursions to the unique Samaria Gorge (the biggest in Europe), Kournas Lake (the only natural lake in Crete), exotic beaches of Elafonisi, Falassarna, Gramvoussa, Balos (where you can take a mini cruise,too).
Sail South Crete by Ferry (Chora Sfakion, Agia Roumeli, Sougia).
Explore unspoiled villages around Chania, eat their local produce.
Of course a visit to Knossos, Archaeological Heraklion Museum is a must. All these and even more make Hania unforgettable.
It is also important to mention that you will be provided with any kind of information you may need, as the owners know so many details about the prefecture of Hania and West Crete in general.
So, you can easily find your way to sunny beaches, clear waters, very busy or isolated places, and even high mountains with a breathtaking view.
